Meats in your Asado Special
Coarse Salt
Oil
Directions
Remove your meats from the fridge one hour before cooking.
Remove all packaging from your 3 meats and pat-dry each of them with a kitchen towel.
Season generously with coarse salt.
Barbecue
If cooking on your barbecue place all 3 meats on your grill and cook them for 3 minutes on each side for the Beef cuts and 6-7 minutes for the Pork.
Pan/Griddle
If cooking on a pan: heat a thick-bottom pan or griddle, add some oil and wait until it starts to smoke.
Cook your sirloin steak and your wagyu rump for 3 minutes on each side for a medium rare cooking point. Your rump might be slightly thicker than your sirloin so you might need to add a minute to it.
Add a further 1 minute for medium cooking point.
Cook your pork tomahawk for 6-8 minutes on each side.
Alternatively, you can sear it on a pan for 2-3 minutes on each side and then take it to a 200-degree oven for another 6.
Once your meats are cooked remove them from the heat and cover them with foil. Let them rest for half their cooking time. This will ensure juices remain inside.
Serve your meats with your favourite sides and accompaniments and enjoy!
Remember you can use your chimichurri dressing to season your meats before cooking or as a complement when they're served.
