The Malbec Collection includes the following three wines:

Catena Paraje Altamira Malbec - Mendoza, Argentina

100% Malbec. 12 months in 85% French oak and 15% American oak

Coming from one of the premier regions for producing top-grade Malbec, this rich wine with spices and a touch of leather embraces flavour profiles of plum, blackberry and red fruits, with notes of vanilla, lavender and mocha.

The wine goes through a process of cold maceration over a 5-day period at 10°C. It then goes through fermentation for 16 days and this is then followed by a 10-day post-fermentation process.

Exclusively provided to us by Catena Zapata.

De Angeles Gran Malbec - Mendoza, Argentina

100% Malbec. 14 months in French oak barrels

Deep and brilliant ruby red colour with blue and purplish hues around the rim. Sweet and delicate aromas which evolve and slowly reveal a great complexity and intensity as it develops in the glass.

Complex, intense and concentrated flavours and a lingering aftertaste. It has soft and sweet tannins with vanilla notes and soft toast flavours which denote it is mildly aged. It has an ageing potential which makes it worthy of ageing for at least 10 years.

Benegas Estate Single Vineyard Malbec - Mendoza, Argentina

100% Malbec. 12 months in French oak barrels.

This wine is of an intense ruby red colour with violet hues. Bright and clean on the nose.

This single-vineyard Malbec from Benegas has medium intensity with soft and round tannins that unfold through the mouth. It's fresh and juicy, very friendly in the palate with subtle minerality. Elegant and long finish.

Ideal to be paired with roasted red meat, grilled meat and complex sauce pasta.
