Wagyu Cap of Rump - Picanha - BMS Grade 7
This 200g Wagyu Picanha steak is simply incredible. A favourite over in Brazil, the cap of the rump is unique in that it has one of its sides covered by a shell of fat.
With a very high marbling content, Wagyu beef offers flavours and textures that are simply mouthwatering due to a precise and well-controlled diet of cereal and grain.
Considered the crème de la crème across the globe, these magnificent steaks are sourced from Finca Santa Rosalia - a Spanish farm known for its unique rearing and specialised breeding environments.
Remove packaging and leave product out of the fridge for at least an hour before cooking it.
Place meat on hot pan or griddle (no oil is needed, the natural fat marbling from the meat will do its job here) Cooking time will be between 3-5 minutes on each side, depending on preference and thickness of each cut. If in doubt, remove it from heat, make a slight cut and take a look. Wagyu is best when enjoyed close to medium but personal preference always wins.
