Wagyu Rump - Centro de Posta Negra - BMS Grade 7
This cut comes from the heart of the rump. Though slightly thicker than the Wagyu Posta Negra cut, this steak remains lean. It is an ideal piece for grilling and can be cooked in a similar way to Fillet.
With a very high marbling content, Wagyu beef offers flavours and textures that are simply mouthwatering due to a precise and well-controlled diet of cereal and grain.
Considered the crème de la crème across the globe, these magnificent Wagyu steaks are sourced from Finca Santa Rosalia - a Spanish farm known for its unique rearing and specialised breeding environments.
Grill / Pan Fry
Remove packaging and leave product out of the fridge for at least an hour before cooking it.
Place meat on hot pan or griddle (no oil is needed, the natural fat marbling from the meat will do its job here) Cooking time will be between 3-5 minutes on each side, depending on preference and thickness of each cut. If in doubt, remove it from heat, make a slight cut and take a look. Wagyu is best when enjoyed close to medium so fat melts but personal preference always wins.
